Sr. IT Applications Specialist will work will work with Enterprise Architects, Senior Consultants and Domain Architects, along with the vendor and project team members to build and configure the Enterprise Architecture Capability of Planview Portfolios.

Sr. IT Applications Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Leads meetings to define and document requirements, and evaluates comprehensiveness, testability and usability of the requirements within the application.
  • Design the application based on needed requirements, along with retiring current solutions.
  • Provide system design recommendations and suggest alternative project/design approaches to reduce complexity.
  • Data migration will also be essential, you’ll be responsible for analyzing current data solution, mapping to new solution and working with the vendor on imports.
  • Provide guidance and design specification for overall configurations and data flow from Planview EA to Portfolios.
 Sr. IT Applications Specialist Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology, or related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Math, Information Systems) and a minimum of four years of related work experience designing, developing, programming and/or supporting IT Systems and applications. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, a minimum of six years of related work experience designing, developing, programming and/or supporting IT Systems and applications may be accepted.
  • Experience configuring and supporting complex applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT technologies, software applications, programming languages, and adjacent systems and data exchanges.
  • Knowledge of data structures, data management practices, system interaction patterns and interfaces.
  • Knowledge of two or more IT Systems and/or software applications.
