Senior SAP Business Analyst will be responsible for the configuration, design, implementation, and maintenance of SAP ERP System, with a focus on specific modules.

Senior SAP Business Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Functional/Technical expert and hands on configurator for specific modules.
  • Solution Design:
  • Performs systems analysis, design, configuration and programming tasks related to enhancements, interfaces, data conversion and special reporting requirements.
  • Advises users as to the applicability of various alternatives to meet the specified requirements, such as: SAP standard functionality & reporting, specialized configuration, custom report-writing and report development, complementary software packages, and or changes to business processes.
  • Provides overall direction in the implementation of new SAP modules and new releases of the SAP application software, as well as related 3rd party software tools.
  • Work in multidisciplinary teams to define and design complex processes and procedures for the configuration, upgrade, and maintenance of SAP and related application systems.
  • Solution Delivery:
  • Develops functional standards, best practice guidelines, solution diagrams, and documentation standards for all ERP and related solutions.
  • Ensures that standards are adhered to, and that documentation and change control processes are followed across the Applications Organization.
  • Ensures that work provided by partners meets internal standards and is ultimately accountable for the solutions delivered.
  • Designs and assists users in the design and documentation of business processes and procedures, the development of training materials, and the delivery of training.
  • Maintains work plans, tracks effort and progress vs. plan?for small to medium scale projects and provides appropriate and timely status information regarding projects and assignments.?
  • Acts as liaison to the software vendors and other users of the software. Is actively involved in software and/or functional user groups users.
  • Supervises contract consultants, programmers, and part-time clerical assistance, as needed.
  • Testing:
  • Designs test plans, executes test scenarios, validates test data, and documents test results.
  • Responsible for IQ (Installation Qualifications) and OQ (Operational Qualification) processes.
  • Performs thorough positive and negative testing of all new and revised system functions and reports to ensure desired functionality and no negative side-effects (regression testing).  
  • Solution Support and Stewardship:
  • Monitors systems performance and system resource management.
  • Highly responsive to priority incidents (help desk ticket or other notification) impacting the production or movement of product or processing of invoices for accounts receivable or payable.
  • Resolve business issues by working with various groups within and outside of the company (i.e. system users, company management, consultants, and software support staff).
  • Works to keep systems on current patch levels and running on supported hardware and operating systems.
  • Maintains and surfaces awareness of technical or functional advances that could provide current or future value.

Senior SAP Business Analyst Requirements:
  • B.S. degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field
  • In lieu of a degree 7+ years experience in a high paced regulated global manufacturing environment 
  • A minimum of 5 years SAP implementation or direct support with hands-on configuration experience
  • Preferred Experience with one or more of the Following:
  • SAP Security authorizations, role definition, audit
  • Sales and Distribution (SD) including APO Global Available to Promise (GATP) or S/4 AATP
  • SAP Quality Management
  • SAP IBP
  • SAP development or integration technologies
  • Very good communication and people management skills
