The Senior Process Engineer will develop strategies addressing manufacturing challenges to drive innovation. They will provide leadership on plant processes, quality, and raw materials.  The Senior Process Engineer will foster a culture of continuous improvement and engage the production team members to contribute their ideas.

Senior Process Engineer Responsibilities: 
  • Builds and supports a strong safety culture and adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Delivers exceptional production performance and constantly drive improvement in product characteristics, system capability, and consistency.
  • Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute solutions for manufacturing challenges, leveraging engineering expertise.
  • Takes charge of start-up operations and ongoing production, including overseeing extrusion processes, managing product transitions, and coordinating equipment maintenance.
  • Leads implementation of new processes, production codes, and raw material blends.
  • Conducts process improvement trials and incorporate learning into technical improvement plans.
  • Owns and develops all plant product quality specifications to ensure the specification is adequate to ensure customer FFU.
  • Ensures all products meet ASTM, UL, R&D Industries standards.
  • Oversees and maintains all Quality Control specifications and requirements.
  • Constantly strives to improve product performance in all areas and aligns with customer needs.
  • Provide technical and process support to our customers and sales support team as required.
Senior Process Engineer Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • 5+ years’ manufacturing experience required.
  • Lean certification such as Six Sigma or other related methodology.
  • Demonstrated success coaching and leading teams.
  • Experience managing and delivering results through projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively throughout the organization.
  • Ability to travel 10%.
