Shipping and Receiving Supervisor
Solon, OH 
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime as needed)
$52,000 – $60,000
Shipping and Receiving Supervisor oversees shipping personnel, ensures accurate order fulfillment, and manages inbound inventory distribution. This role requires verifying shipment accuracy, maintaining proper documentation, directing customers and drivers, and assisting with loading/unloading as needed. The Supervisor is a key member of the management team and must uphold professionalism in all interactions.
Shipping and Receiving Supervisor Responsibilities
•    Supervise packaging employees and daily shipping activities.
•    Verify order accuracy before shipment.
•    Unload and distribute inbound materials appropriately.
•    Ensure timely order fulfillment and shipment readiness.
•    Coordinate with the Operations Manager on product availability.
•    Maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation.
•    Work with the Quality Manager on material distribution.
•    Oversee inventory control and material handling.
•    Train employees on packaging and receiving procedures.
•    Inspect and verify packed items against customer standards.
•    Maintain packaging inventory and promote a positive team environment.
•    Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Shipping and Receiving Supervisor Qualifications 
•    Experience operating forklifts and packaging tools. Forklift Certification is a plus. 
•    High School Diploma minimum 
•    Tow Motor Driving experience 
•    Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to read specifications.
•    Proficiency with measuring tools (ruler, caliper, micrometer, etc.).
•    Ability to lift 50-100 lbs. (assisted for heavier loads).
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent standing and lifting.
•    Basic computer proficiency.
•    Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
•    Effective communication and leadership abilities.
•    Ability to make sound decisions based on facts and situations.
•    Commitment to safety, teamwork, and professionalism.
