The Catering Cook will join a premier catering company specializing in high-quality culinary experiences and contributing to the creation of unforgettable dining experiences for weddings, corporate events, private parties, and more throughout Northeast Ohio.
Catering Cook Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and execution of high-quality dishes for catered events, following recipes and presentation standards.
- Set up and break down cooking stations efficiently at various event locations.
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, meeting health and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with ingredient prep, such as chopping, marinating, and assembling dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and workspaces.
- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during events.
- Transport and set up food stations at different venues as needed.
- Adapt to different kitchen environments and event settings while maintaining a high standard of service.
Catering Cook Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cook or prep cook in catering or banquet services.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for food presentation.
- Available for flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to travel to various event locations throughout Northeast Ohio.
