The Business Development Lead will play a critical role in identifying, acquiring, and managing key client relationships to drive revenue growth. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and a proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales, account management, and market analysis, with a focus on delivering value-driven solutions to clients.

Business Development Lead Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research to identify high-value prospects and industry trends.
  • Develop and implement client acquisition strategies to drive new business opportunities.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring long-term partnerships.
  • Execute cross-selling and upselling initiatives to expand client engagement and revenue.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales efforts with the overall business strategy.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Lead contract negotiations and close high-value deals that drive business growth.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities.

Business Development Lead Requirements:
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management in a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, negotiation strategies, and client relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive measurable business impact.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, data analysis, and sales tracking tools.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience working in industries related to supply chain, food service, manufacturing, or consumer goods is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
