A well-established dermatology practice is seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to oversee daily operations. This position requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to provide exceptional patient and staff experience. As the Practice Manager, you will ensure the practice runs efficiently, fosters a positive work environment, and deliver high-quality administrative support to staff and providers. This role supports one dermatologist and one esthetician, along with a team of office staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks to ensure efficiency and exceptional patient care.
  • Develop and implement office policies, procedures, and systems to streamline operations and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage office staff, including receptionists, medical assistants, and administrative personnel, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory, supplies, and equipment to support clinic operations.
  • Address and resolve patient inquiries, concerns, or complaints professionally.
  • Collaborate with physicians and providers to support practice goals, ensuring seamless communication and operational alignment.
  • Manage financial aspects of the practice, including billing oversight, revenue growth, and expense management.
  • Oversee billing operations, ensuring accuracy in claims processing, insurance verification, and patient billing.
  • Negotiate costs and reimbursement rates with insurance companies to optimize revenue and minimize financial discrepancies.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Experience: 3+ years of proven management experience in healthcare (dermatology experience is a plus).
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, focusing on employee development and engagement.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems and familiarity with insurance and billing processes.
  • Strong background in medical billing and insurance negotiations is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
