The Maintenance Planner is responsible for assuring turnaround planning is prepared and executed in a manner that meets the Site's Turnaround objectives.
Maintenance Planner Responsibilities:
- Prepares and assembles field planning packages per specifications.
- Estimates labor requirements and develops planning schedules.
- Inputs data into outage/turnaround plans and schedules.
- Creates and reviews detailed planning documentation.
- Conducts constructability reviews and verifies package completion.
- Executes field planning tasks, including preparing isometrics, tagging items, annotating drawings, and completing data sheets.
- Conducts field walkdowns and quality reviews.
- Assumes execution roles as a field coordinator or planner during outages/turnarounds.
Maintenance Planner Qualifications:
- Field maintenance experience, with mechanical crew leadership preferred.
- Self-starter, goal-oriented, with problem-solving and investigative skills.
- Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Visio, Word, Adobe Acrobat; SAP preferred.
- Ability to read equipment/piping drawings and basic Primavera P6 scheduling knowledge.
- Experience in job planning, scope definition, and coordinating with various teams.
- Oversight of daily work during execution, with a focus on safety, quality, and progress.
