$20-21/HR
Quality Control Microbiology Technician will serve as a primary person responsible for making decisions concerning the degree to which OTC/cosmetic/EPA products have been manufactured in accordance with the regulations, internal procedures, and customer requirements prior to release for distribution based upon a review of the records and processes.

Quality Control Microbiology Technician will serve as a primary person responsible for making decisions concerning the degree to which OTC/cosmetic/EPA products have been manufactured in accordance with the regulations, internal procedures, and customer requirements prior to release for distribution based upon a review of the records and processes.
Quality Control Microbiology Technician Responsibilities:
- Record review of production - both blending and packaging operations, both internal Follow SOPs to maintain compliance in an FDA regulated facility
- Perform testing on raw materials, water, in process, and finished products.
- Using various lab instruments and performing testing (pipetting, pH, titration, viscosity, etc..)
- Bacterial culture work (Biosafety levels 1 & 2)
- Collect samples for testing and making media
- Communicate with different departments and shifts as necessary
- Work in a team setting as well as individually
- May work overtime as needed
- Additional duties as assigned
Quality Control Microbiology Technician Requirements:
- Minimum HS Diploma required.
- Associate or Bachelor Degree in Science (Chemistry, Biology, etc...) highly preferred
- Understand basic chemistry testing
- Have basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Be able to walk for extended periods of time
- Be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
