A Warning About Recruiting Scams

These fraudsters may invite unsuspecting applicants, pretending to be Hunter representatives, to participate in fake interviews, fill out fabricated employment applications, or engage in other deceptive employment-related activities. Their ultimate goal is to deceive victims into paying money or disclosing sensitive personal information.

To protect yourself during your job search, please keep the following points in mind:

Communications:

Be cautious of unsolicited communications from unfamiliar individuals or websites, especially if their domain name does not match Hunter.
Beware of correspondence from free email or messaging accounts like Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, or WhatsApp. Our recruiters may reach out to candidates through LinkedIn or other job boards, but they will not contact candidates using non-Hunter International email addresses or phone numbers.
Pay attention to communications that lack information about a specific job opening or have vague job descriptions. Be wary of job offers that are extended without an interview.
Be cautious if a recruiter claims to have seen your resume on a site that you are not familiar with.
Be wary of any communications during the application phase that request sensitive personal data, such as your date of birth, social security number, bank account information, passport information, or any number appearing on identity documents.

General:

Hunter International does not require candidates to make monetary payments at any stage of the hiring process. We do not charge candidates for our recruitment services.
Any payments made by Hunter International will come from an official company account bearing the Hunter International name. Do not trust checks or payments from any other source.
Be cautious of job opportunities that come from unfamiliar individuals and seem "too good to be true."
