Process Engineer specialized in Fabric Treatments for Non-Wovens and Paper, for a corporate role within a prominent industry leader's "Center of Excellence." This position requires extensive travel, up to 75%, and will serve as the coatings expert for non-wovens, paper, and related materials. The role involves providing technical leadership for complex issues across multiple sites, supporting site-level process engineers, and utilizing data analysis tools for statistical process control (SPC).

Process Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in fabric treatments, specifically for non-wovens and paper, at the corporate level within a renowned "Center of Excellence."
  • Support site-level process engineers in resolving complex technical issues related to coatings for non-wovens, paper, tape, and similar materials.
  • Utilize data analysis tools for analysis and statistical process control (SPC) to drive process improvements and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions for coating processes.
  • Develop and communicate clear and measurable performance expectations
  • Partner with Technical Leaders at each plant to develop project plans aimed at closing performance gaps and achieving plant goals.
  • Support new line vertical start-ups and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Foster connections with manufacturing, plant technical resources, and Business Center of Excellence Teams to influence results across Non-Wovens operations.

Process Engineer Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 7+ years of experience in manufacturing process engineering, specializing in coatings for non-wovens, paper, or similar materials.
  • Expertise in fabric treatments and coatings processes for non-wovens, paper, tape, etc.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools for statistical process control (SPC) and process optimization.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% and work effectively in a remote corporate setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide technical leadership for complex issues.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving results in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
