2nd Shift (3:00-11:00pm)
3rd Shift (11:00pm-7:00am)
$20-25/HR

Lab Technician will be responsible for supporting the assigned lab by conducting testing on finished products, intermediates, and raw materials under the direction of Technical Team Members.

Lab Technician Responsibilities:
  • Work in a safe manner, obeying all SHE guidelines and proactively working to improve safety and housekeeping
  • Record review of production - both blending and packaging operations
  • Follow SOPs to maintain compliance in a regulated facility
  • Perform wet chemistry testing on raw materials, in process, and finished products.
  • Assist with validations, stability, and micro processes.
  • Perform routine benchtop testing (titration, viscosity, pH, density, GC, TOC etc..)
  • Collect samples for testing
  • Communicate with different departments and shifts as necessary
  • Work in a team setting as well as individually
  • Document activity in the laboratory database accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Handle and clean laboratory equipment and containers on a regular basis.

Lab Technician Requirements:
  • HS Diploma with 3+ years of experience in an industrial lab required.
    • Completed Bachelor’s in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science or related discipline highly preferred + 0-1+ years of experience in a lab setting
    • Combination of education and experience can be considered.
  • Familiarity with industrial lab safety practices and procedures
  • Commitment to teamwork and collaboration
  • Willingness and ability to learn safety procedures, applications tests, and lab operations.
  • Base proficiency or willingness to learn Microsoft SharePoint, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Solid written and oral communication skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Looking for a highly motivated person with action-oriented personality
  • Ability to work independently with supervision in an empowered team atmosphere
  • Must have a high regard for safety of yourself and safety of others
  • Strong reading, listening, multitasking, problem solving, time management skills
