The Sales Executive generates sales opportunities with new clients in a defined market. This role involves coordinating personal sales efforts with team members and internal staff, as well as collaborating with the team to cross-sell products and services. The position requires developing and implementing a personal sales plan with direct accountability for annual production goals.


Sales Executive Responsibilities:
  • Establish and execute a sales development plan to acquire new clients.
  • Collaborate with team members to cross-sell various lines of coverage.
  • Maintain high sales activity through proactive initiatives.
  • Source leads, identify decision-makers, and make cold calls to secure appointments.
  • Conduct detailed analyses of prospective clients' needs and recommend suitable coverages.
  • Customize insurance programs and present features and benefits to potential clients.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients, acting as a consultant to analyze risk and propose solutions.
  • Keep detailed electronic records of prospecting activities using Microsoft CRM software.
  • Develop a professional network through referrals, community events, and industry seminars.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and legislative changes through continuous learning and training.
Senior Sales Executive Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of successful sales experience in the Insurance Brokerage field.
  • Experience in Property & Casualty, Life & Health, Personal Lines, or Retirement Planning.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and quotas.
