The Accounting Coordinator will execute cash or charge processing activity for company route sales representative. The Accounting Coordinator will execute and prioritize baseline procedures to ensure accurate and timely completion to meet key performance measures and commitment to field sales.

Accounting Coordinator Responsibilities:
  • Review documentation received from field and research applicable systems to ensure valid proof of delivery has been obtained.
  • Works closely with Accounts Receivable to negotiate customer account rebills as well as ensure correct resubmission of resolved charge ticket services requests from the field.
  • Manage special requests received from internal and external customers.
  • Collaborate with Sales Accounting associates and other knowledge experts to develop best practices and initiatives to reduce the over/short balances.
  • Assist with special projects; projects can include, but are not limited to process improvements, new business processes, process documentation and research, new hire training, and special customer recovery efforts, etc.
  • Escalate special and/or complex issues related to charge ticket adjustments to Lead and/or Manager
  • Utilization & navigation through the following business systems and applications:
    • SAP
    • FS2/IMS
    •  HVL
    • Imagevision
    • Xporter/TSO
    • C2C
    • Masterfiles
    • TMC
    •  Customer Account Web Portals, etc.
Account Coordinator Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Understanding of the sales process and AR background.
  • Working with a proficient knowledge of SAP and Excel is preferred.
  • Strong problem-resolution skills.
  • Team player and must be adaptable, flexible and customer service oriented.
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines and to manage current workload plus handle special projects (as needed).
