The Accounting Clerk will assist the accounting department in various clerical tasks to support financial transactions, record-keeping, and data entry.

Accounting Clerk Responsibilities:
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Enter financial data into accounting software and maintain electronic records.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and vendor statements.
  • Assist in preparing basic financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
  • Handle filing, scanning, and organizing financial documents.
  • Provide general administrative support to the accounting team as required.
Accounting Clerk Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Some college coursework in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an accounting or clerical role.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero is preferred.
  • Familiarity with basic financial concepts and terminology is preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the accounting field.
