Laboratory Assistant should be detail orientated with good organizational and planning skills. Be able to independently organize, plan, and execute a variety of daily tasks. Display good interpersonal skills and be a proactive and effective communicator.


Laboratory Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Assist with general laboratory operations and support the research and development department by collaborating with research teams.
  • Prepare, maintain, and organize laboratory glassware, supplies, and inventories.
  • Record data and keep track of process execution.
  • Proactively uphold the organization’s core values and compliance with best laboratory practices.
Laboratory Technician Requirements:
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a scientific field
  • 1 year or more of laboratory experience
  • Have a working knowledge of laboratory procedures and protocols, equipment specific to area of instruction and safety guidelines
  • Experience running autoclaves and industrial glassware dishwashers
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic team player with good problem-solving skills
  • Organized individual with attention to detail and demonstrated ability to organize and execute various tasks
  • Solid written and verbal presentation skills, with ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote
  • Experience with inventory management, order fulfilling, and external supplier coordination
  • Strong capabilities/experience in performing chemical calculations and conversions
  • Hands on experience with aseptic techniques
Experience preparing sterile media and chemical solutions
