2nd Shift – 3:30 to 12:00pm (Monday thru Friday)
$25-35/HR

Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the installation of new equipment, inspection and repair of existing equipment, and maintaining daily operation of the equipment, preventative maintenance on process equipment and facility systems, providing emergency repairs as needed.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
    • Communicate regularly with other managers, the director, vice president, president, and other designated contacts within the organization.
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
    • Repair equipment and perform PMs in a timely manner
    • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
    • Notify when parts and supplies are needed or used
    • Understand and follow quality sign-off procedures
    • Understand and follow all safety procedures
    • Understand and follow all safety and quality issues and proper documentation whenever necessary
    • Know and follow all GMPs

Maintenance Technician Requirements:
    • High School Diploma/GED minimum required; Associate’s, Technical Certificate, or Journeymen’s Card highly preferred
    • 2-5 years’ experience in maintenance manufacturing environment preferably in a chemical / production facility
    • 2-5 years mechanical and electrical experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Capable of working in a high paced environment
    • Able to handle up to fifty (50) pounds and physical dexterity to assemble polymerization reactors
    • Working knowledge of computer applications (Word, Excel, E-Mail)
