Shift Hours: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
Pay Rate: $20-$22/hour
The Lab Technician is responsible for the testing and analysis of in-process and final products.
Lab Technician Primary Responsibilities
  • Hands on completion of analysis of in- process and final batch test results in support of manufacturing
  • As decisions and actions are based on lab results, this position requires diligent detail in following lab procedures, record keeping and documentation, and accurate calculations and reporting.

Lab Technician Qualifications
  • The candidate must achieve an acceptable score on a basic math test that includes calculating percents, averages, unit conversions and performing rounding (Testing performed onsite, prior to interview process).
  • The candidate must demonstrate minimum color aptitude by scoring a 50 or lower using the Farnsworth-Munsell Hue Test. Laboratory Management will also assess results screening for color deficiencies as outlined in the FM-100 test method. Candidates may be permitted one re-test. (Testing performed onsite, prior to interview process).
  • Candidates must be able to lift 55 pounds.
  • Dependable transportation, excellent attendance and timeliness are required
  • Accurate thorough documentation and lab records are imperative
  • Ability to multitask (manage multiple simultaneous samples in organized high-quality environment) is required.
  • Some lab experience (preferred but not mandatory). Ability to follow lab work instructions.
  • Strong commitment to safety and working safely.
  • Self-motivated individual with strong output of accurate results
