Pay Rate: $20-22/HR

Laboratory Technician work on-site in a laboratory setting, conduct experiments, and handle laboratory equipment. This position will work alongside senior personnel to support agricultural product research and development.

Laboratory Technician Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine research laboratory specific activities with varying CPD&D areas such as Formulation Labs and Active Ingredient Labs.
  • Assist with HPLC analysis of materials.
  • Support routine sample preparation and characterization.
  • Compliance with laboratory safety.
  • Operate sample characterization instrumentation.
  • Consistently apply sound scientific methods to solve technical problems.
  • Assist with qualifying new active ingredient and raw material sources and support shelf-life date extensions for existing products.
  • Understand and follow EH&S standards and use of safety procedures & appropriate PPE mandated.

Laboratory Technician Requirements:
  • BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Analytical Chemistry or related field.
  • 2 years prior relevant experience working in a research or manufacturing/engineering laboratory environment.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment and techniques.
  • Knowledge of chemical & analytical skills and equipment setup is required.
  • Experience in a chemistry lab is preferred.
  • Experience with the design and development of formulations is preferred.
