Field Service Technician will support environmental test chamber installations as well as repairs, calibrations, and troubleshooting for various customers throughout the
Midwest, and occasional nationwide travel.

Field Service Technician Responsibilities:
  • Travel to customer locations to provide technical support, setup and instruction, replacement parts and service, calibration and certification services, and training programs for the automotive and aerospace markets.
  • Troubleshoot (both onsite and offsite), repair and instruct others to repair test chambers effectively and efficiently. This can include a broad scope of system issues which may include the following:
    • Electrical, PLC, HMI, and Valves related to the test chambers.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally in the field to our customers regarding general repairs, training, troubleshooting and consult with our engineers to resolve unusual problems in system operations and overall maintenance of our machinery.
  • Advising management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance and suggestions for product improvements is essentially the company’s eyes and ears in the field.
Field Service Technician Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Applied Sciences with an Electrical, Mechanical, or Trade specification is preferred.
  • 60-70% travel is required.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer is required.
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry or aerospace industry considered a plus.
  • The ability to study and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other machine specifications and determine installation procedures and equipment functionality.
