Licensed Electrician Responsibilities
  • Works closely with Test supervisor, Test Engineering, Testers, and facilities team to support test initiatives, including but not limited to utility equipment maintenance, modifications and repairs of electrical systems and components.
  • Specifically, install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and electronic components following electrical codes, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment.
  • Manage spare parts inventory for electrical components supporting the entire facility.
  • Requisition parts, materials, labor, and support to complete job tasks.
  • Schedules maintenance tasks, including time, parts, and other materials used to complete tasks.
  • Leads electrical safety programs – Electrical Safe Work Practices, ARC Flash, NFP70E and Energy Control for Lockout Tagout compliance.
  • Lead and/or manage special projects including capital investments and facility upgrades.
  • Schedules contingent workers and contractors for specialty assignments and provides direction to ensure additional facilities support.
  • Fabricates replacement parts as needed for test equipment and machinery.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Licensed Electrician Requirements
  • Certified electrician and minimum 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, devices, DC Battery systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blue-prints or electrical schematics and knowledge of the National Electric Code.
  • Ability to work extended hours covering multiple shifts as required.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Plan and layout preventive maintenance procedures.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in 3-Phase Power Distribution is preferred.
  • Experience with 3-Phase breaker maintenance and repairs is preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance software is preferred,
  • Demonstrated use of Lean Manufacturing tools – Preventative Maintenance Programs is preferred.
