Lead Mulesoft Developer contractor on a team within an Enterprise Integration Services platform will play a key role building and maintaining the complex integrations of our systems with internal and external partners. This person will learn and support the rapidly growing technologies in the application integration space including APIs, Real-Time Data Streaming using Kafka, and other integration technologies. This role will include task delegation and clarification, ensuring other developers are making progress on assignments, supporting others through technical challenges, assisting with technical designs, and providing feedback to management regarding the project.
 
Lead Mulesoft Developer Responsibilities:
  • Develop applications and provide MuleSoft expertise to a team of developers building a solution for a Commercial Lines business.
  • Building a MuleSoft and Kafka solution
  • Act as the primary person responsible for developing complex MuleSoft features
  • Leading a small team of developers, including offshore contractors.
  • Write and review complex Dataweave mapping
  • Write automated unit test cases using Munit
  • Deploy applications using CICD pipelines and troubleshoot deployment issues
  • Perform development of event driven architecture using a queuing technology
  • Create Tasks (Product Backlog Items) for the senior and junior developers
  • Serve as a point of escalation for MuleSoft related issues
  • Present technical options for system designs involving MuleSoft
  • Support project team during production elevate and warranty periods
  • Create custom functions in MuleSoft using Java
  • Produce technical documentation based on assigned work items
 
Lead Mulesoft Developer Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership experience, along with written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of MuleSoft Architecture
  • Proficient in Java 
  • Working knowledge of Splunk
  • Working knowledge of Kafka application development
  • Working knowledge of containers (OpenShift)
  • Working knowledge of Azure DevOps
  • Highly skilled in MuleSoft development including flows and Dataweave
  • Experience in transforming XSLTs and XMLs
  • Working knowledge of Git branching
  • Strong SQL skills (Call and write stored procedures and write/execute queries)
  • Knowledge of basic LINUX/UNIX commands
  • RAML and Data formats experience
