The Business Development Manager will drive growth, focusing on expanding into new markets for chemical manufacturing process technology. This role will lead efforts to increase market opportunities and generate revenue growth through innovative commercial strategies for both existing and new offerings.
  
Business Development Manager Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Technical Service and Sales Teams globally.
  • Conduct market research and engage with customers to support growth initiatives.
  • Develop marketing materials to highlight product and solutions relevant to customers.
  • Identify and develop emerging markets for product line and services.
  • Serve as a SME on the design of products and their industrial applications.
  • Preparation of complete, accurate and on-time customer proposals and price estimates.
  • Support sales efforts with timely responses to technical and commercial questions from clients.
  • Review and analyze technical specifications.

Business Development Manager Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required.
  • MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing processing.
  • Time management and task prioritization required to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly direct and manage relationships with customers, business development managers, and internal teams.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience with business development and sales strategies is preferred.
  • Willing to travel up to 40% of the time.
