The Artwork Editor will ensure product labeling meets all regulatory and compliance requirements. This role will review packaging artwork for essential elements, including ingredients, warnings, net quantity, and distributor statements, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as regulatory affairs, artwork planners, design, marketing, and legal. The Artwork Editor will ensure product labeling meets all regulatory and compliance requirements. This role will review packaging artwork for essential elements, including ingredients, warnings, net quantity, and distributor statements, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as regulatory affairs, artwork planners, design, marketing, and legal. The Artwork Editor will also participate in project alignment meetings to anticipate changes and provide feedback to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Artwork Editor Responsibilities:
- Review product labeling to verify compliance with regulatory requirements, including ingredients, warnings, net quantity of contents, and distributor statements.
- Collaborate with regulatory affairs, artwork planners, design, marketing, and legal teams to ensure accurate and compliant artwork.
- Participate in artwork project alignment meetings to stay informed of upcoming changes and provide early feedback.
- Conduct copy checking and proofreading of artwork components manually or using electronic verification tools.
- Review complex reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Meet with clients to discuss artwork-related matters and ensure alignment on project goals.
- Make presentations to internal and external stakeholders as needed.
Artwork Editor Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED.
- Experience in ad-hoc mechanical file editing and artwork review and approvals.
- Strong background in color range management and print & production technical knowledge.
- Expertise in proof and sample approvals to ensure quality control.
- Ability to manage vendor communications effectively and oversee artwork-related processes.
