Assembler Overview:
- Assemble small and large components to form sub-assemblies or completed assemblies using hand tools, air tools, rivet guns, operate the base robot and sub assembly machines. Build devices per drawing, routing, and work instruction
Assembler Responsibilities:
Perform quality checks consistent with the Inspection and control plans.
Inventory/replenish parts to assembly stations. Use the Kanban system to assure availability of parts
Read orders and drawings to determine assembly procedures such as component types and configuration, mounting locations and clearances required.
Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner and maintain 5S in the area
Work with various groups of employees in team-based environment, cross train on all assembly lines and help train new employees. Perform other duties assigned by supervisor
Required Qualifications
Responsible for following all safety policies and procedure and wearing proper PPE
Perform work in a manner that supports company quality standards and systems
Ability to work overtime as needed
Perform other duties, as assigned by supervisor
Lift 40 pounds repeatedly and able to safely team lift items exceeding that weight and able to stand/walk for a working shift
