HSE Specialist will be responsible for development and/or execution of HSE processes and activities, including Audits, Workshops, Trainings.
HSE Specialist Responsibilities:
- Support continuous optimization of processes and unit operations concerning HSE.
- Participates in respective expert communities within client as well as external collaborations.
- Depending on the respective field of expertise the incumbent is focused on one or a few of the following topics: Methodologies for hazard identification, evaluation and mitigation.
- Evaluation criteria for safety, protection quality.
- Ensure policies, procedures, equipment, and training are available and in place to ensure compliance with all OSHA and EPA regulations as well as corporate reporting requirements and industry best practices.
- Take part in various inspection activities related to facilities, machinery and safety equipment on a scheduled basis to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Report and follow-up on actions identified to mitigate risks and maintain compliance.
HSE Specialist Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED required and 1-3 years experience in a related field.
- Familiarity with OSHA’s Hazard Communication standards and the GHS (Global Harmonization Standard) is a plus.
- HSE management system experience including in particular processes like auditing, performance evaluation, continuous improvement cycle, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Plant Safety, Environmental Protection,. Transport Safety, Warehouse Safety.
