The Software Engineer will develop and maintain applications used in the design, testing, and FAA certification of propeller systems. The software includes desktop applications, lab data acquisition, and data analysis codes.

Software Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain in-house software applications utilizing appropriate coding standards and documentation.
  • Support the engineering test lab personnel in the acquisition and analysis of test data.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to thoroughly understand project requirements and translate them into clean sheet software solutions.
  • Willingness to embrace a wide range of software application types when developing new solutions, adapting to the unique needs of each project.

Software Engineer Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or electrical engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience writing software applications.
  • Experience programming in C, C++, or C#.
  • Experience using LabWindows/CVI software.
  • Experience utilizing coding standards and revision control.
  • Experience utilizing common lab instrumentation such as strain gages, thermocouples, RTDs, and telemetry systems.
  • Experience developing efficient GUI designs.
  • Experience working with and interpreting mechanical drawings and engineering schematics.
