Sourcing and Logistics Specialist Provides input to the development of strategic sourcing and logistics planning.
Sourcing and Logistics Specialist Responsibilities:
- Collects, analyze, summarize, organize and audit data.
- Managing spending, ensuring sourcing process compliance and allocating the supply base.
- Developing plans for procurement.
- Manage transportation, and expediting or troubleshooting delivery of quality materials and services.
- Resolve supply or system/process problems.
- Ensure alignment with relevant site and/or supplier compliance related to specific aspects of contracts, sourcing and logistics systems/process, including government regulations, safety, quality, pricing and service delivery.
- 3-5 years of experience in logistics/sourcing
- Experience in the industrial or production environment is desired
- Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain is preferred
- Candidates must have strong customer service skills, be client focused and possess very strong interpersonal skills to deal effectively with the varying tasks and demands in this role
- Strong computer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) capability and procurement systems (SAP, ESourcing, Ariba) experience.
